Katharine Rich, of Star Real Estate, has had an adventurous time, roaming the world and savoring life to its fullest. When she first came to sunny California as a college student, Katharine won parts in shows such as Hawaii 5-0, Magnum PI, Battlestar Galactica, and Rockford Files. She also did background acting and voice-overs. Star Real Estate Top Producer Returns from Around-The-World Trip
Sean Grange, a top-producing real estate agent with Star Real Estate, just returned from a nine month around-the-world trip with his wife and 2 young sons, ages 3 and 4.
“It was the trip of a lifetime,” says Grange. “We were able to travel to 10 different countries and introduce our kids to some amazing places, people and cultures on our trip.” The Grange family spent hundreds of hours in planes, cars and trains as they traveled from Central America to the Patagonia Mountains in Argentina and Chile, across to the United Kingdom/Europe, then over to the Australia/New Zealand and South Pacific regions.
While the trip was primarily focused on exploring new countries and spending time with the family, it also provided Grange with an interesting insight into the global scale on which this economic crisis has played out across the world. “While the housing and finance collapse originated in the US,” said Grange, “it is far from being an American problem. Every country we visited is experiencing the ripple effects of our troubled economy.” They found major unemployment concerns in small towns in Ireland, unfinished resort projects in Queenstown, New Zealand, and standing housing inventory across the world. “While some countries we visited “claim” to beout of the recession, they are far from it and have the same housing, finance, and employment concerns we have here in the US.”
The Grange family is now back in the country and Sean has quickly picked up where he left off as one of the top-performing agents in the county. He continues to focus his efforts on helping people buy and sell homes, condos and land across Orange County.
